Minutes of September 22, 2003 Public Board Meeting
Members Present:

- CALL TO ORDER
The Board was called to order by Ted Chaffee, Chair at 9:00 a.m.
- APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Cindy Woodard moved to approve the minutes of the August 25, 2003 as amended. Reid Stevens seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
- ADMINISTRATOR’S COMMENTARY
Penny reported that she would make some clarifying changes on the disclosure statement suggested format regarding the “projected” licensure period.
Penny stated that as of today the CEU audit is in effect and that we can fine tune a letter to licensees at the October meeting.
- APPEAL HEARING
Matt Lovering: Cheryl Davis moved and David Bellville seconded to uphold the denial on all three points. The motion passed unanimously.
Todd Dubose: Cheryl Davis moved and Reid Stevens seconded to uphold the denial on all points except the requirement of Human Growth and Development coursework has been met. The motion passed unanimously.
- LICENSE APPLICATIONS AND RENEWALS
Cindy Woodard moved and David Bellville seconded, to approve the new licenses as listed. Passed unanimously.
Cheryl Davis moved and David Bellville seconded, to deny the licenses as listed. Passed unanimously.
Cheryl Davis moved and Cindy Woodard seconded, to approve the renewals as listed. Passed unanimously.

MISCELLANEOUS
Judy Peters discussed a clinician practicing and advertising practice before the registration had been granted. The board decided to fine the applicant $250.00 as part of a proposed consent agreement. Cynthia Woodard moved and Reid Stevens seconded to offer the consent agreement. Motion passed with 6 in favor and 1 abstention (Karen St. Clair).
David Bellville moved and Karen St. Clair seconded to approve the assessment and current plan from the supervisor of the licensee of complaint COU-113. Cheryl Davis will write a letter for documentation. Motion passed unanimously.
- SUPERVISOR APPROVALS
Karen St. Clair moved and David Bellville seconded to approve Melissa Winchester as Robin Spencer’s supervisor. Motion passed unanimously.
Karen St. Clair moved and David Bellville seconded to approve Margaret Fernald as Nancy Dobbs Greene’s supervisor. Motion passed unanimously.
- INACTIVE STATUS
Karen St. Clair moved and David Bellville seconded to grant inactive status to Holly Greenleaf-Whitney.
Karen St. Clair moved and David Bellville seconded to reactivate Melindria Tavoularis and Debra McKenzie Harris’s licenses. Motion passed unanimously.
- ADJOURN
