Mr. Kenneth “Skip” Hardt, Director of Apprenticeship Standards of the Maine
State Apprenticeship and Training Council regarding the Apprenticeship Program
for Embalmers. Mr. Hardt explained to
the Board what a registered apprenticeship program is and the process an individual
must go through while in the apprenticeship program.
COMPLAINT PRESENTATIONS
The Board reviewed and took
action on the following complaints:

In a motion by Ernest
Marriner, seconded by Jennifer Minkowitz, the Board voted unanimously to
dismiss these complaints without prejudice based on disciplinary action already
taken by the Board and to refer these complaints to the criminal division of
the Attorney General’s Office for further action as it deems necessary.
INSPECTION REPORT
Inspector Matthew Cyr
conducted one inspection in the month of November.

CONTINUING EDUCATIONAL APPROVAL
In a motion by Normand Lambert, seconded by Hervey Clay, the
Board voted unanimously to approve the attached list of continuing education
approvals as reviewed by the Continuing Education Committee at the last
meeting.
ADMINISTRATORS REPORT – PENNY VAILLANCOURT
Ms. Vaillancourt provided
the Board with a budget update.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
In a motion by Normand
Lambert, seconded by Hervey Clay, the Board voted unanimously to go into
executive session for the purpose of reviewing the State Law and Rule Examination.
