Governor Washburn Hon.
Sir, after seing the reply
of atorney Gen drummond
in regard to dependent familey
I applied to the
select men of turner in
whitch I am an inhabitent
for aid I have made several
aplications before
they refuse to aid me and
my family is suffering
and they tell me I must
to on to the town farm
I cannot except such aid
with my son in the service
of the united states I therefore
have a right to withdraw
my son Albert W. Hine from
the service he is in Co. K
5th Maine Regt.
