Historical Records Caretakers(November 2009)
The next Basic Archival workshops are scheduled for mid-November (Nov. 16th in Saco; Nov. 18th in Augusta; or Nov. 19th in Bangor). Grantwriting workshops are in Augusta, monthly through January. **The November grantwriting workshop, previously scheduled for Nov. 12, has been moved to Nov. 13.** BASIC ARCHIVAL WORKSHOPS SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER; GRANTWRITING WORKSHOPS SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, JANUARY (November 2009) HISTORICAL RECORDS GRANT APPLICATION AVAILABLE February 1, 2010, will be the next deadline for the Historical Records Collections grants. The application is now available. Note that these grants are not for artifacts. Historical Records are unique original records, usually unpublished, including manuscripts, photographs, architectural records, video recordings, sound recordings, and film.
