Historical Records Grant Forms

IMPORTANT NOTE: October 2011 will be the only deadline for Historical Records Collections Major Projects grants. There will be NO APRIL DEADLINE. It is uncertain whether or not there will be a Major Projects deadline in 2012.

The program has a simple application form with rolling deadlines (you can apply at any time) for grants of up to $1000. Note that these grants are not for artifacts. Historical Records are unique original records, usually unpublished, including manuscripts, photographs, architectural records, video recordings, sound recordings, and film.

Contact Janet Roberts (287-5791; janet.roberts@maine.gov) for more information.
