Job Description:
This is work in administering examinations to applicants for Class A, B, C, motorcycle, bus, and school bus driver licenses. Employee administers road skill tests, written/oral tests, vision screening, and special examinations to physically challenged and/or adverse driving applicants. Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Requirements:
In order to qualify, you must have two (2) years experience affording public contact, a knowledge of Maine Motor Vehicle laws and regulations, and a high school diploma or equivalent. You must attach with the application proof of a High School Diploma or equivalent certificate.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Possession of a valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License (you must show proof of license before hire).
- Live or be willing to move to within 35 miles of the assigned office.
- Have no extensive motor vehicle violations.
