Write-in Candidates Procedures

A person whose name does not appear on the ballot may be elected to an office if the person files a Declaration of Write-in Candidacy no later than 45 days prior to the election. A write-in candidate must fulfill all qualifications for the office sought. Further information is available in the Write-in Candidates Guide provided below.

The filing deadline for the June 12, 2012 Primary election is Monday, April 30, 2012. 

Declarations of Write-in Candidacy for the November 6, 2012 General Election will be available after the Primary election.
