CHAPTER 120:
Electrical Installation Standards
STATUTORY AUTHORITY: 32 M.R.S.A. §1153 and §1153-A
PURPOSE: The Board intends to review and revise its rules to ensure
clarity and conformity with the enabling statute adopting by reference
the current edition of the National Electrical Code in which all installations
must conform.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: Prior to July, 2002.
AFFECTED PARTIES: Licensees and the general public.
CONSENSUS-BASED RULE DEVELOPMENT: Not contemplated.
CHAPTER 130:
Examination and Licensing Requirements
STATUTORY AUTHORITY: 32 M.R.S.A. §1153, §1201 and §1204
PURPOSE: The Board intends to review and revise its rules to ensure
clarity and conformity with the enabling statute by clarifying the requirements
for examination to be an electrician in the State of Maine.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: Prior to July, 2002.
AFFECTED PARTIES: Licensees and the general public.
CONSENSUS-BASED RULE DEVELOPMENT: Not contemplated.
CHAPTER 150:
Reciprocity
STATUTORY AUTHORITY: 32 M.R.S.A. §1153 AND §1206
PURPOSE: The Board intends to review and revise its rules to ensure
clarity and conformity with the enabling statute by clarifying the procedure
for qualifying for licensure by reciprocity.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: Prior to July, 2002.
AFFECTED PARTIES: Licensees and the general public.
CONSENSUS-BASED RULE DEVELOPMENT: Not contemplated.
