CHAPTER 501:
Kim Wallace Adaptive Equipment Loan Program Fund Board Rule.
STATUTORY AUTHORITY: 10 M.R.S.A. § 374(4), et seq.; 5 M.R.S.A.
§8051, 5 M.R.S.A. §9001.
PURPOSE: To make such changes as are necessary to provide loans to eligible
borrowers in the most efficient manner.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: Approval for Rulemaking: February 2002; Public
Hearing: March 2002; Adoption Date: April 2002.
AFFECTED PARTIES: Individuals enabled to lead more independent lives
as a result of equipment purchased with loan proceeds; businesses able
to comply with the Americans Disability Act and the Maine Human Rights
Act as a result of use of loan process.
CONSENSUS-BASED RULE DEVELOPMENT: The Board does not intend to employ
consensus-based rule development.
CHAPTER 502:
Bylaws and Administration of the Adaptive Equipment Loan Program Fund
Board.
STATUTORY AUTHORITY: 10 M.R.S.A. §374(4), et seq.; 5 M.R.S.A.
§8051, 5 M.R.S.A. §9001.
PURPOSE: To amend bylaws; administrative procedures, and the appeals
process as necessary for the efficient administration of the Board and
the Program.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: Approval for Rulemaking: February 2002; Public
Hearing: March 2002; Adoption Date: April 2002.
AFFECTED PARTIES: Any applicant seeking to appeal a decision of the
Board. Board members who are provided guidance in the operation of the
Board.
CONSENSUS-BASED RULE DEVELOPMENT: The Board does not intend to employ
consensus-based rule development.
