STATUTORY AUTHORITY: 32 MRSA §214 (1)
PURPOSE: This Chapter sets the qualifications for licensure, a code

for the Board has changed and the purpose for this section is no longer
necessary. Section 2 may be amended to adopt an experience-only licensure
option for Architects. Section 7 may be amended to require interior
designers to pay an application fee and the exam fee, by section, may
be repealed because the fee is now paid to the testing company. Section

Finally, the Board may clarify the term "broadly experienced."
The Board does not plan to use consensus-based rule development in proposing
changes.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: Within 1 year, if necessary.
