For Professionals
This section contains information about suicide prevention tailored to specific professions and the role they can play in suicide prevention, intervention and postvention.
A professional may:
- be the first person to identify a suicidal youth;
- serve as a "Gatekeeper" at a school or in another setting;
- be responsible for assessing suicidality;
- or provide support to a child who has lost a friend to suicide.
