The information in this section is meant to assist you to find help as you deal with the devastation associated with a death by suicide.  Please know that you are not alone--over 1,000 people in Maine become survivors each year.  We are sorry for your loss.

Voices of Survivors Speakers Bureau training

The Suicide Survivor Speakers Bureau are individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide and have been trained to speak safely and effectively about their loss in order to increase awareness and help prevent suicide in Maine. The Maine CDC, Suicide Prevention Program and NAMI Maine are providing a free training for suicide survivors who are interested in participating.
