Goals: To demonstrate the global scope and local impact of selected environmental issues and provide students with a broad range of integrated analytical skills.

Current Programs:

Coordinate major (with another discipline) A.B. programs, and independent study projects with environmental and marine organizations; many courses include local community based research; focus on growth management environmental issues and Gulf of Maine.

Resources: Environmental lectures; possible student interns; Coastal Studies Center, Orrs Island; Kent Island Scientific Station, New Brunswick.
