Goals: To collect and distribute real-time oceanographic data to fishermen, scientists, shippers, managers, educational institutions, recreational boaters and others in the Gulf of Maine over the Internet.
Current Programs:
Starting in the summer of 2001, GoMOOS will post physical and optical information from a buoy array, sea surface temperature, winds, and ocean color data from satellite sensors, and model outputs for oceanographic conditions and waves for the Gulf of Maine.
