Goals: To protect, conserve, and enhance Maine's ecosystems through the promotion of individual understanding and actions.
Current Programs:
Protection and management of least tern and piping plover breeding colonies; citizen monitoring and evaluation of tidal marshes; coastal wetland protection advocacy; Scarborough Marsh Nature Center programs for schools and general public; Gilsland Farm Environmental Center programs on estuarine ecology; numerous field trips highlighting coastal wildlife and natural areas.
