This website provides access to the electronic Preliminary Official Statement (POS) dated October 19, 2009 and relating to the State of Maine Bond Anticipation Notes. Electronic access to the POS is being provided to you as a matter of convenience only. Although the information contained in the electronic POS has been formatted in a manner which should exactly replicate the printed POS, physical appearance may differ for various reasons, including electronic communication difficulties or particular user equipment. In order to assure accuracy, users should obtain and refer to the printed POS. A user of the electronic POS acknowledges that there may be discrepancies between the printed POS and the electronic POS. In the event of a conflict between the printed and electronic POS, the printed POS shall control. Copies of the printed POS may be obtained from ImageMaster Financial Publishing, Inc. by calling (734) 821-2525. The electronic POS was created in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) using Adobe Acrobat 5.0, and you will need Adobe Reader software to accurately read and print the electronic POS. If you do not have the Adobe Reader, or if you are using a version earlier than that used in Adobe Acrobat 5.0, you may obtain an updated version of the Adobe Reader free of charge from the Adobe website at www.adobe.com. Using software other than the Adobe Reader included in Adobe Acrobat 5.0 may cause the POS which you view or print to differ from the POS that was posted on this website or from the printed POS, and you acknowledge that you are aware such discrepancies may occur as well as those related to electronic word processing, communication and document transmission. Under no circumstances will the POS or its electronic posting constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of any offer to buy, nor will there be any sale of the securities described in the POS in any jurisdiction in which such offer, solicitation or sale would be unlawful prior to registration or qualification under the securities laws of any such jurisdiction. By electronically accessing the POS at any time, you acknowledge that you understand and agree that you have (i) accepted the provisions of this page, (ii) agreed not to print the POS except in its entirety and (iii) consented to the electronic transmission of the POS.
