Heirfinders/Locators

An heirfinder is someone who assists owners or heirs in locating and/or recovering unclaimed property for a fee. Heirfinders must be private investigators licensed in Maine (Some exceptions apply). For information on becoming a licensed private investigator, please contact the Maine State Police.
