Average weekly wages must be calculated in accordance with Section 102(4), of the Maine Workers’ Compensation Act of 1992. Furthermore, the applicability of subsections A, B, C and D must be considered in the order that those subsections appear. The following pages provide examples of typical WCB-2, Wage Statements. Each example contains an “AWW calculation explanation” at the bottom of the page. These “AWW calculation explanations” are designed to offer general guidance for the application of Section 102(4).
