Websites have become the primary way that the public interacts with Government agencies. Websites need to be fast, accessible to all, and designed to deliver a service or information as directly as possible. As an agency webmaster it is your job to build and maintain this important communication channel.

Maine.gov has had a common look and feel initiative since the early 2000's that is meant to reassure people that they are on official State of Maine websites by using a common design language. In order to facilitate this we have developed a state agency template that is required for use by agencies, as well as a Drupal theme that integrates this template, making it as easy as possible to get started.
