PUBLIC NOTICE

AVAILABILITY OF FULL-TIME AGENCY LIQUOR STORE LICENSES

The Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations, Division of Liquor Liensing and Enforcement, will be accepting agency store applications to establish or replace existing agency liquor licenses pursuant to 28-A M.R.S. section 453-A, subsection 2, in each of the following municipalities:

BUCKFIELD, ELIOT, FALMOUTH, FORT FAIRFIELD, HOPE,

LIMINGTON, LISBON/LISBON FALLS, NEW SHARON, PORTLAND.

All applicants for agency liquor stores must be located within the municipality where an advertised license is available and in accordance with 28-A M.R.S. section 453, subsection 2-C, must have "held a license to sell malt liquor and wine for off-premise consumption for more than one year immediately preceding application without violation of any provision of this Title".  Additionally, each applicant must submit a fee of $2,000 with the application in order for evaluation of application to begin.

Completed applications, together with the $2,000 fee, must be received by the Bureau by 4:30 PM on September 20, 2013.
