IV. NARRATIVE
A piece of equipment staged next to the retention pond at the Sprague Terminal developed a leak of hydraulic fluid. The fluid flowed over pavement into the water of the retention pond. Sorbents were initially used and then Clean Harbors was hired to remove the contamination and haul it to their Rumery Road facility.No site visit was made and no further action by the Division of Response Services is expected at this time.
