Attention Section 17, Community Support Service Providers: Updated Guidance Regarding Delay to January 1, 2024 COLA Implementation

This message is an update to a previous communication regarding the implementation of Section 17 COLA rates effective January 1, 2024. Implementation of these rates is delayed until August 14, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

Please follow the billing guidance provided in our August 5, 2024 notice, with one exception. For Section 17 claims only, we will override the 120-day timely filing edit for claims with dates of service January 1, 2024, through August 14, 2024. 

If you have adjusted or straight reversed your claims prior to seeing this announcement of the implementation delay, please call your Provider Relations Specialist, Bruce Cosgrove.
