Help MaineCare Rebrand the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) Program

MaineCare’s EPSDT program allows members under the age of 21 to receive medically necessary services that are not typically covered in the MaineCare Benefits Manual due to service limits. This can include preventive, dental, developmental, behavioral health, and specialty services.

MaineCare is rebranding the EPSDT program that will be used across all state materials including provider and member communications, and our website in hopes of helping to clarify the purpose of the program. The goal is to choose a program name that is reflective of feedback from interested parties; something that is more memorable and alludes to the EPSDT program goals of early screening, diagnosis, and access to treatment services for children and youth under age 21.

Please complete this short survey to help us choose a new program name by Friday, September 13, 2024.

Please contact Becky Parsons, EPSDT Program Coordinator, with questions.
