Rate Determination Kickoff Meeting: Sections 12, 18, 19, 20, 21, 29, 40, 96, & 102, Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) Providers of Clinical, Therapy, Care Coordination, Supportive Skills Building, & Assistive Technology Services

Earlier this year, MaineCare provided notice that it had initiated a rate determination process for certain HCBS services provided under Sections 12, 18, 19, 20, 21, 29, 40, 96, & 102, of the MaineCare Benefits Manual (MBM).

On August 28, 2024, the Department with its vendor Public Consulting Group (PCG), will host a virtual kickoff meeting with interested parties from 10:30AM to 12:00PM via Microsoft Teams. At this meeting, PCG will provide an overview of the project goals and timeline which allows opportunities for participation by interested parties.

PCG has identified a comprehensive list of service codes to be included in this rate study and will share the list at the kickoff meeting. MaineCare will post the list to the Rate System Reform webpage following the meeting.

The Department encourages providers and interested parties to participate in this kickoff meeting and offer important feedback to this process.
