Brief Synopsis: Tr. Rider was conducting traffic enforcement in Easton when he observed a vehicle, pulling a trailer, that had a defective light. Tr. Rider stopped the vehicle for the infraction and after an investigation discovered the driver had a suspended driver’s license and had bail conditions prohibiting him from operating a motor vehicle. Tr. Rider issued the man a criminal summons for OAS and a criminal summons for VCR. A licensed driver came to get the man and the vehicle.

Brief Synopsis: Tr. Desrosier was conducting traffic enforcement in Mapleton and observed a vehicle with a defective registration plate light. After stopping the vehicle and conducting an investigation, he discovered the driver had a suspended driver license and his passenger was on bail with a curfew. The driver was issued a traffic summons for OAS and the passenger was issued a criminal summons for VCR. The vehicle was towed from the roadway and the pair walked to their destination.

Brief Synopsis: Tr. Rider was monitoring traffic from a stationary position in Castle Hill. A vehicle pulled up to him, saw it was a State Police cruiser, and immediately sped off back to the residence they had just left. Tr. Rider noted the vehicle did not have a front registration plate and conducted a traffic stop. After an investigation, the driver was found have a revoked driver’s license and for illegal attachment of registration plates.

Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins was conducting traffic enforcement in Easton and observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was locked on radar to be driving 69 mph in a posted 30 mph zone. The man did not give any reason for driving so fast. Tr. Kilcollins issued him a criminal summons for exceeding the posted speed limit by 30 mph or more. Within five minutes of clearing the traffic stop, Tr. Kilcollins stopped a second vehicle for 65 mph in the same 30 mph zone. Tr. Kilcollins issued a criminal summons for exceeding the posted speed limit by 30 mph or more.

Brief Synopsis: Tr. Martin was on routine patrol when he observed a white SUV with a cracked windshield. Tr. Martin stopped the operator who admitted to not having a license. Tr. Martin confirmed the operator was suspended and upon further investigation, the license plate was falsely attached and stolen. Tr. Martin seized the license plate and issued the 35-year old Van Buren man criminal summonses for OAS, false attachment, and theft.

Brief Synopsis: Tr. Cotton was working traffic on Route 1 in Monticello when he met a vehicle traveling 102 in a 55 zone. The man was summonsed for criminal speed.
