On 12/13/2021, Cpl. Cote stopped Amie Iteka (22) of Lewiston on the ME Turnpike northbound in Falmouth for traveling 104 MPH.  She was charged with Criminal Speed.

UPDATE: Mr. Quinn has been located safely.

On 12/01/2021, Tr. Ellis conducted a commercial motor vehicle inspection on Arkadiy Mkrtychev (70) of Pennsylvania on the ME turnpike southbound in Scarborough. Tr. Willard had stopped the vehicle after he observed and received numerous complaints of erratic operation. Mkrtychev was found to be falsifying his records of duty status. He was summonsed, placed out of service, and towed.

Poor driving conditions contributed to several crashes that closed Interstate 95 near Dixmont, Etna, and Plymouth.  Interstate 95 Southbound remains closed and traffic is being diverted off the interstate at Exit 167.  The interstate is expected to remain closed for the next 4-6 hours.
