There will be two Basic Life Support in Obstetrics courses offered in September:
Sept 9, 2024 at Bridgton Hospital from 8am-5pm
Sept 17, 2024 at MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital from 8am-5pm
Basic Life Support in Obstetrics (BLSO) is designed to improve the management of normal deliveries, as well as obstetric emergencies by standardizing the skills of first responders and emergency personnel. The curriculum is designed for non-obstetrical providers. This course is open to all levels of EMS clinicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, and physicians.
Preregistration is required. There is no cost for this program thanks to grant funding.
