The Maine MCH Title V team is interested in understanding more about the healthcare system and services as it relates to children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN). Please note the following definition for CYSHCN; this definition is from the National Standards of Care for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs:

  • Children, birth to age 21, who have or are at increased risk for a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition and who also require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that required by children generally
