In 2023, the Governor's Energy Office was directed to lead a study to determine whether a Distribution System Operator (DSO) could be established in Maine to achieve cost savings for customers, improved system reliability, and accelerated achievement of the State’s climate goals. The GEO retained Strategen Consulting to prepare an initial DSO feasibility study. This webinar will review the background of the study, the outcome of Strategen's Draft Feasibility Study, and GEO’s determination of next steps. There will be an opportunity for audience Q&A.
