Senior Anti-Hunger Policy AdvisorSydney Brown is the Anti-Hunger Policy Advisor in the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future. In her role, Sydney coordinates the implementation of Everyone at the Table: Maine’s Roadmap to End Hunger by 2030, resulting from over two years of collaborative work and contributions from hundreds of individuals inside and outside of State government. The Ending Hunger by 2030 initiative born out of the 129th Legislature’s LD 1159, authored by then-Rep. Craig Hickman and signed by Governor Mills.
Sydney was one of the original authors of Maine’s Roadmap to End Hunger by 2030 and has been involved in anti-hunger work for the past fifteen years, coming to GOPIF with a strong background in anti-hunger policy and programming. Prior to GOPIF, Sydney conducted program evaluation and research for public sector and nonprofit clients.
