Rep. Kelly Noonan Murphy is serving her first term in the Maine House of Representatives. She is a member of the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee.

Rep. Murphy is a Scarborough native and is honored to represent her friends and neighbors in the Maine House. She works as a school-based behavioral healthcare professional and is a 1:1 educational technician in a special education preschool program.

Previously, she served two terms on the Scarborough Board of Education, spent many years volunteering in Scarborough schools and was a youth sports coach through Scarborough Community Services. She served on the steering committee for the Wentworth School Building Project and is the founder and chair of the board of directors for Scarborough Community Thanksgiving.

Rep. Murphy graduated from Catholic University in 1997 with a bachelor’s in English and from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law in 2000, where she focused on labor and employment law.

She lives in Scarborough with her husband and three young adult children.
