Rep. Dan Sayre is serving his second term in the Maine House of Representatives. He is a member of the Taxation Committee.
Sayre had a 35-year career in book publishing in scientific and technical disciplines for professionals and college students. He served two terms as a director of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and chaired ASEE’s Corporate Member Council. Over the past two years, Sayre’s consulting firm, New World Associates, has led the Workforce Summit for Industry 4.0 in collaboration with the ASEE. Sayre recently served on the Town of Kennebunk Budget Board and was the board’s liaison to RSU 21.
Sayre is passionate about growing and diversifying Maine’s economy and fostering greater collaboration between our education, business and policymaking communities. He is an advocate for building inclusive communities where every Mainer can thrive.
