Rep. Holly B. Stover is a dedicated community leader and advocate for social justice who has built her career around serving others and addressing critical needs in her community. With over three decades of experience in public service, she has worked in health and human services, child welfare, children’s and adult mental health, domestic and sexual violence, substance use prevention and community development.
 

In her role as a state legislator, Stover has been a strong advocate for improving health care access, expanding mental health resources and addressing the opioid crisis. She is a member of the budget-writing Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee and has previously served on the Health and Human Services Committee, the Government Oversight Committee, the Joint Select Committee on Housing, and as House chair of the State and Local Government Committee.
 

Beyond her legislative duties, Stover is actively involved with various local nonprofit organizations, volunteer groups and initiatives. She lives in her hometown, Boothbay, and cherishes both its natural beauty and strong sense of community.
