National Diabetes Prevention Program
Many people who have prediabetes don’t know they have it, or that their risk of having prediabetes increases as they get older. Prevent diabetes and lower your blood sugar with the help of the Diabetes Prevention Program! This program helps participants make lifestyle changes such as eating healthier, increasing physical activity and reducing stress.

Benefits
Nutrition benefit and coverage for members of the State of Maine Point of Service health insurance plan: - Two visits with an Aetna network provider are covered per 12 months at no cost. Wellness Center membership is available to State of Maine employees and retirees, with their spouses/domestic partners at no cost. Employee and retiree members must be eligible for State of Maine health insurance plan.
