The Department will again be allowing in person attendance at our Bid Openings starting on June 8th, 2022. You can join us in the main conference room at the Augusta Headquarters Building at 16 Child Street (please read instructions posted on the main entrance). The marked receptacle at the main entrance will remain in use for your convenience.
The Department still encourages use of our online bidding system, Bid Express. If you have a paper bid that you are delivering to the MaineDOT office, you can drop it into the marked receptacle at any time of day on any day of the week at the main entrance of the Augusta Headquarters Building. You can also drop it off at the front desk during business hours. Call George Macdougall at 207-624-3353 or 207-624-3000 if you have any questions. All deliveries from the U.S. Post Office, FedEx, etc. will be received as usual. For more information on Bid Express contact Guy Berthiaume at 207-624-3534 or Guy.Berthiaume@maine.gov. Provide equipment without an operator for use on construction and maintenance work on an as-needed basis and other incidental work. Bidders may bid on one or more regions.
Woodland Fish Passage System: This Project partially removes and replaces an existing fish ladder and includes the construction of a new fish lift with an exit flume, attraction water supply system, downstream migrant bypass system, access bridge, and other incidental work.
