The Housing Opportunity Program, in November 2023, applied for grant funding from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This grant opportunity, known as HUD Pro Housing, appropriates $85 million in grant funding for the identification and removal of barriers to affordable housing production and preservation. HUD anticipates making awards in early 2024.
