Maine Mock Election - Department of the Secretary of State

Rally & Tally Celebration

The Mock Election Night Rally and Tally event at the Augusta Civic Center offered students the opportunity to meet candidates, design their own campaign posters, and stump for their favorite candidates. Snacks, pizza and beverages were provided.

Students volunteered their time answering calls and tallying Mock Election results. Up-to-the-minute results were posted at various times during the afternoon and evening.

How To Report Mock Election Results:

PLEASE remember to report your school's mock election results for inclusion in the statewide totals!

Instructions for reporting results: On Mock Election Day during the hours of the Rally & Tally Celebration, please either call OR e-mail us your election results from your reporting form.

1. Send results to the Vote Tallying Celebration in Augusta.

2. Report results via the phone numbers and e-mail address provided.

National Student Parent Mock Election via NSPME's website

If your school has registered to participate in the National Student Parent Mock Election via NSPME's website PLEASE send results to Augusta on Mock Election Day even if you are also reporting your results to NSPME/School Perceptions.

This is necessary in order for us to have accurate vote counts per candidate.

If you have not received a mailing from us containing the School Reporting Form, you will be able to download the form in October. 2010 School Reporting Form.

Please enter your school totals and call or e-mail results to the Vote Tallying Celebration.
