How to Vote in the Maine Student Mock Election

1.	Be sure you have registered to participate and assigned a contact person for your classroom, school or district.
2.	Ballots will be distributed to each contact person. You can also download and print the ballots that correspond to your congressional district.
3.	You may conduct your Student Mock Election on or before Tuesday, October 30, 2012.
4.	Distribute the ballots and have students cast their votes. Your town or city clerk may be willing to assist you with this process.
5.	Collect student ballots and tally votes for each office and ballot question. A reporting form will be sent to the contact person.
6.	Report your results on Tuesday, October 30th, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
