The Maine State Data Center introduces a database web application.

The Maine State Data Center has provided this online tool to make it easier for you to access economic and demographic data for Maine, including commonly requested data about population, demographics, housing, retail sales, and employment. This site will be continually updated as new data are released. You can access the tool here.

The Maine State Data Center is a Census Bureau program operated by the Maine State Planning Office. The goal of the program is to improve access to demographic, economic, and census data across the state. For more information on the State Data Center Program, visit http://www.census.gov/sdc/www. The State Planning Office works with a network of affiliates across Maine to help increase data accessibility. Affiliates include various types of organizations, such as public and academic libraries, state agencies, and regional planning groups.
