Important Notice: Summer 2024 Permitting Delays
LUPC staff are experiencing extremely high volumes of emails, phone calls, and permit applications and may have significant backlogs.
Please be prepared to accommodate delays in staff responses or permit issuance.
Your questions or application will be considered in the order received.
If you require a site visit, please contact staff at least 15 days before the desired date.
The Land Use Planning Commission has five regional offices located throughout central and northern Maine and a central office in Augusta.
The LUPC regional staff are at your service but periodically may be out of the office for meetings, field visits or working remotely. If you would like to meet with a staff person in the office or onsite, please schedule an appointment ahead of time to ensure that someone will be available to assist you.
