The Pathway to Managing Your Asthma Infographic (American Lung Association) (PDF)
This infographic encompasses the four components of the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (NAEPP) guidelines for better asthma management; assessment and monitoring, understanding asthma medication, proactive doctor visits, creating an asthma action plan, and learning asthma self-management skills. At the end of the pathway it links asthma patients to learn more about asthma by taking the Lung Association's free interactive online learning module Asthma Basics.
Expert Panel Report 3 (EPR3): Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma (National Heart Lung and Blood Institute)
The EPR 3 Guidelines on Asthma was developed by an expert panel commissioned by the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program Coordinating Committee, coordinated by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health.

Attack Asthma (U.S. Environmental Agency and the Ad Council)
This initiative shares information especially tailored for children and their parents or caregivers. The site contains interactive games where children can learn about asthma and triggers and how to avoid an attack.

Air Quality Resources
Air Quality Forecast (Bureau of Air Quality)
The Maine Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Air Quality established this site to inform the general public of current air quality concentrations and expected air quality concentrations for the upcoming 48 hours. Air quality forecasts are scheduled to be updated by 3:00 pm weekdays and other times as necessary. Air Quality forecasts are also available on the Bureau's Air Quality Hotline at (800) 223-1196.
EnviroFlash Notification {Ozone Alert} (Bureau of Air Quality)
EnviroFlash is an automated, zip code based, electronic alert system that warns people when air quality is likely to be poor in their area.
IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) Tools for Schools (Environmental Protection Agency)
The IAQ Tools for Schools Program is a comprehensive resource to help schools maintain a healthy environment in school buildings by identifying, correcting, and preventing IAQ problems.

This is a toolkit that was developed for community and school coalitions as a step-by-step guide for creating asthma-friendly school environments.
Athletes and Asthma: The Community Coach’s Role (Minnesota Department of Health)
This free training course was created so coaches could learn about asthma, how it affects an athlete's ability to compete, and how the coach can help athletes manage their symptoms while playing their very best.
Maine School IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Program
IPM is a decision-making process that combines practical pest management strategies to prevent or control pests in ways that reduce risks to health and the environment.
