Safety & Health Research
The Maine Department of Labor Research and Statistics Unit collects and analyzes data on work related injuries, illnesses and fatalities in Maine. Through this research, the Unit is able to publish specific studies related to injuries, illnesses and fatalities that affect employers and employees in the State of Maine.
The Research and Statistics Unit also provides confidential customized company profiles on work related injuries and illnesses.
Instructional classes performed by our staff on OSHA Recordkeeping are available upon request.
