York County Emergency Management Agency is excited to announce we will be hosting G-191, EOC/ICS System Interface, Instructed by Scott Gagne of York County Emergency Management. 

The goal of G-191 is to demonstrate the interface of Incident Command System operations with Emergency Operations Center Support. This course is designed for personnel who are active in a community's ICS and EOC activities.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Explain the course structure and potential ICS/EOC interface challenges.
• Explain key NIMS concepts, command and coordination systems, and structures.
• Analyze given scenarios to determine commonalities and potential interface issues between ICS and EOCs.
• Explain the respective roles and interconnectivity of the NIMS command and coordination systems in coordination.
• Contrast the typical role and functions of the Incident Command and the EOC during emergency operations.
• Analyze given scenarios to apply ICS/EOC interface concepts.
• Develop an ICS/EOC interface action plan for your community.
• Summarize the course objectives.

Student Prerequisites: IS 100, 200, 700, 800, & 2200

Other Information: This course is offered free of charge and lunch will be provided. In an effort to reduce paper use, course materials will be provided electronically, and students will need to bring their own device.
