Cell Phones and Cell Phone Antennas
The State of Maine Radiation Control Program does not regulate cell phones or cell phone base station antennas. This page is only designed to serve as a reference point to answer questions you may have about present research related to cell phones. Cell phones and paging systems as well as wireless phones and computer networks all communicate by electro-magnetic waves in a wide area of the spectrum called radio frequencies or (RF). These are often referred to as radio waves.
