Description, How to Apply, and Contact:

Reporting to the Director of Information Literacy, you will work as a member of a team to create and assess library learning tools and content that teach information literacy, research, and library navigation skills for audiences across the University.

What you'll do:

  • Design high-quality, accessible, and scalable content to teach information literacy, research, and library navigation skills as assigned.
  • Design high-quality and valid assessments to evaluate evidence of learning for both formative and summative performances.
  • Participate in ongoing quality assurance reviews and participate in data-informed assessments of library developed content to identify, report, and resolve areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate on academic program development and improvement projects.
  • Resolve escalated learner questions on information literacy, research, and library navigation topics as needed.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in information literacy, library, and higher education instruction, bring newly identified opportunities to the Content Creation and Research Support Leadership Team for review.

What we're looking for:

  • Two years professional experience Master's degree in library science or other relevant field (instructional design, education) with academic library experience.
  • Experience designing learning objects.
  • Experience with video and image software such as Camtasia and Canva.

Salary: $60k-$65k/yr
