Children's Book Reviews
Each year, a dedicated group of Maine librarians participates in a process to identify the best new books for young readers. The process involves the review of nearly 3,000 children's and young adult books from over 75 publishing houses. Their feedback is used to compile the annual "Cream of the Crop" list of titles for young readers.
This year's reviews are now going to be made available for everyone to see online. Use the links below to search reviews by title, author, rating and more.
New reviews will be added often, so please check back for updates!
