the Maine State Archives and the Bureau of Motor Vehicles . While each bureau has
unique duties in the services and information it provides to the citizens of Maine, they

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING STATE GOVERNMENT CLOSURE
The department, which includes the State Archives, the Bureau of Corporations, Elections and Commissions, and the Bureau of Motor Vehicles will be closed on Thursday, December 24th, 2009. This is one of 10 closure days between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010.
State offices will also be closed on Friday, December 25th to recognize the Christmas holiday.
