November 3, 2026 – General Election
The filing deadline to become a Write-In candidate on the November 3, 2026 General Election will be 70 days before that election, Tuesday, August 25, 2026 by 5pm. Write-in forms will be made available mid-July at the earliest. Interested candidates must contact the Division of Elections directly by emailing cec.officials@maine.gov and include the office in which they are seeking candidacy.
