It is important to remember: 

• To register a vehicle, you must pay your Municipal Excise Tax at your local town office.

• Passenger vehicle registrations expire one year from when they are issued.

• Many Municipal Offices will issue registrations.

  • Should your Municipal Office not issue a registration, simply bring the Excise Tax certificate to a BMV office to complete the process.
