William E. Allard

My Grandfather served many years in our Countries Coast Guard. He has told me many stories of his time in the service. I am proud to be his granddaughter and to be paying tribute to him and honoring him in my first ever year of voting.

Wayne Cartier

Thank you for showing me the way. I pray that God will grace me with the wisdom to serve the people of the great State of Maine in Augusta. All gave some, some gave all, I will always love you, I always have. Thank you for serving, it's my turn to step up.

Tyler R. Paine

Tyler, I am filled with pride at the courage and fortitude you demonstrated during your tour in Iraq and every day since. You are an amazingly strong man and I am thankful and honored to be your mom.

Tyler B. Swisher

Tyler served and ultimately gave his life because he believed it would make the world safe for his children. My right to vote is derived from his service and that of those who served before him. I'm grateful to him and to all who serve today and will serve tomorrow.

Tony Brissette

My father served over 20 years in the Army and I understood early what dedication and loyalty was. My father was in the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict. He gave of himself to serve what he believed in and to also protect his beloved United States and his family.

Stowell Eustis

I'm honoring my Uncle Stowell. Stowell was the oldest of ten children and a student at the University of Maine at Farmington when he was drafted. Stowell was a role model to his younger siblings. He was helping to support his family and going to school full time. He had to help support his brothers and sisters because his father was killed just a few years before he was drafted. Stowell knew he wouldn't make it back from Korea alive. How sad for his mother and siblings who had just lost their husband/father so tragically.
